It's been a very long while since I last posted here, but my little summer break kinda extended over just a tad. During the summer the opportunity came up for us to move to Arizona and so we went for it. Our life became much different and focused in a new direction. A wonderful little whirlind began for our family....
We arrived in Arizona at the beginning of October and so far we are loving it! We've enjoyed the new sights and warm weather. The kids are slowly adjusting and hopefully they've all had a little fun here and there. We've explored new places to eat and shop, gone swimming at the neighborhood pool, played at the parks, spent lots of time with family and we're all getting to know some new friends.
I love these pink flowers everywhere in our neighborhood!
You can tell by the color of our skin we haven't had much sunshine in the last....oh 18 years. It'll take us some time to catch up. ;) Or maybe not. We're a fair skinned bunch.
I confess, when my family is swimming, mostly I stitch...
I've been happy to see that there are trees here that get some fall colors. This is at a park in our neighborhood.
I'm slowly getting the house situated, but we still have some boxes hanging around, pictures to hang and closets to organize. Ug. But we're enjoying it.
These went up as quickly as possible!
It's still took me some time to get around to sewing and I was so eager to get back to it when Camille started her Round and Round Along on Instagram....
I love how my top turned out and it was just what I needed to get back in the groove. I'm waiting on backing fabric so it'll be a bit before I'll get to finish it.
Meanwhile, I decided to sell some fabric on Instagram and I had fun creating little bundles....
I'm working on packaging them up right now and they'll all be sent off to their new homes tomorrow! Thank you everyone who bought bundles from me! It was really fun and I appreciate it. :)
I'm looking forward to enjoying Thanksgiving this week and then I'll be back next week to show you what came in the mail for me a few days ago. I can't wait!! ;)
Happy Thanksgiving!
Tasha
