I had the opportunity to make a quilt to go to Japan and I love the little thing!
Kerri had recieved leftover fabric samples from Lecien for the purpose of making quilts to donate. Honestly I feel kind of funny about posting the quilt, but it turned out so stinkin' cute I just had to share!
I loved working with these adorable fabrics! Mine was mostly Chum Chum Bears, but then I added in some Grandmother's Flower Garden. The two lines look darling together!
Here's Kerri and I's quilts together....Her's was made with Grandmother's Flower Garden.
Cute together? I say Yes. We both did Disappearring Nine Patch, peeking at Alison's tutorial for a quick reference. The quilts really came together quite quickly.....a great quilt pattern for a beginner.
Kerri and I worked on our quilts together and we couldn't stop talking about how cute they were! They are definitly our colors and styles so it made it all the more fun to see them come together.
I love knowing that someone will recieve such pretty quilts! Thanks to Lecien and Kerri's request for leftover fabric, I was able to help a tiny bit.
I hadn't taken any photos, (except this one!) so these were all taken by Kerri. (Thanks Kerri!, they're perfect!)
Happy Monday!
