Before we get to pinning our rows, go heat up that iron!

Sorry I don't have a picture of this, but it is simple. Take row #1 and lay it right side down on your ironing board so that you can see all your seams. Iron all the seams in one direction. Either right or left. Sometimes you will notice that your seams want to fall one particular direction anyway. Then, when you go to iron row #2, iron all the seams in the opposite direction that you did row #1. So, if you started right, go left, then right, then left and so on. I have learned that this step really makes a difference in the way your quilt goes together and it looks so much nicer and neater. Don't skip this!

NOW, moving on. Lay row #2 on top of row #1. Right sides together and lining up those seams.
