The other day I snagged the chance I had to get some pictures of Ava in her Little Red dress. Between her cold and the icky weather around here, I literally had A DAY where there isn't rain rain rain in our forcast! (We're even canceling our Memorial Day camping plans.) :(
She sat for about a minute or so, then she just wanted to get off the rock where she was sitting.
Then all she wanted to do was run. I had a chair and a quilt and some of her cute dishes set out, but she wasn't interested AT ALL. Her brothers were nearby playing with sticks and I think she was more interested in that than anything.
She finally stopped when we came to these yellow flowers and she was very serious.
Then she started talking about the flowers and bringing me the petals.
Not the best editing, poses, angles, lighting, etc...I kind of fake my photography skills. And the girl wouldn't stop moving!! Goodness. But I'm happy we got something before she outgrows the dress.
I'm also happy to have finished another embroidery pattern for the shop!
It's Little Red, of course!
I added fabric for her cape and although it was a bit tedious of a task since I added it after I did the outlining, I do like the result. It was hard to get it perfect, I kept trimming little threads away at a time, then added some embroidery to fill a couple gaps.
In other news, I'm finally doing a Birthday Party for Ava!! Yay! The last few months have been a bit crazy and had some obstacles always putting the party on the bottom of the list. Now that she's 15 months, it's finally going to happen. Better late than never.
The theme? You guessed it......
I'll be filling out these today!
It's sort of a double theme actually. Her gifts have nothing to do with Little Red Riding hood. I have a whole 'nother theme going for that! I'll share it all later. :)
AS FOR NOW, anything Little Red Riding Hood is 20% OFF in the shop for the rest of this week!
Embroidery Patterns and Fabric. Just write LR20% in the notes to seller and I'll refund your paypal.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a party to plan.
